Our technology

Community Ride Hub is technology-enabled, but it is people who keep passengers safe.

The Veyvio platform

Community Ride Hub uses the Veyvio platform to help manage our vehicles, drivers, safety checks, training and communication. It is a working tool for our own operations, not a public booking system, and it sits behind the scenes of everything we do.

  • A driver app for day-to-day tasks and communication
  • Vehicle checks and defect reporting, so faults are logged and dealt with quickly
  • Training records, so we can see who has completed what and when
  • Messaging between drivers and the office
  • Route information to help plan journeys
  • Incident reporting, so issues are recorded and followed up properly
  • Compliance tracking, covering checks such as DBS and licence renewals
  • Digital documents, replacing paper records that are easy to lose

Technology supports people — it does not replace them

Veyvio supports Community Ride Hub's operations. It does not replace good judgement, safe driving, or care for passengers. Every check the platform records still depends on a person carrying it out properly, and every journey still depends on a trained, trusted driver.

Your data

Register Interest submissions are processed via Veyvio Incoming Interests so our team can review and respond to them. Any other information Veyvio holds about drivers, vehicles or passengers is handled in line with our privacy notice. If you would like to know exactly what is recorded and why, our privacy notice is the definitive source, and it takes precedence over anything summarised on this page.
