Our impact

We have no journeys, passengers or outcomes to report yet, because Community Ride Hub has not started operating. Here is what we will measure once we do.

No operational figures exist yet

We will not publish a passenger number, journey count, satisfaction score or outcome statistic until it is real. Until Community Ride Hub is operating, this page describes intent, not results.

Why this page looks like this

Some organisations publish impact figures before they have any, because a page of numbers looks more convincing than a page that admits it does not have any yet. We think that is dishonest, and for Community Ride Hub it would also be evidence in a regulatory sense — anything we publish about our purpose and activities can be read closely by the bodies that oversee our permit and, in time, our charitable status. So we would rather tell you plainly: Community Ride Hub is not yet operational, and there is no impact data to show.

What we intend to measure, once we are operating

Our Social Return on Investment Framework and our Funding and Sustainability Strategy set out the areas we intend to track. In practice, that is likely to include measures such as:

  • How many journeys we provide, and for how many members
  • How independence, access to appointments, and social participation change for the people we transport
  • How reliably and safely journeys are delivered
  • Feedback from members, passengers, carers and referring organisations
  • Whether we are reaching the areas and passenger groups we set out to reach

As figures become real, they will be published here, dated, and kept up to date rather than left to go stale.

For funders and commissioners

If you are assessing Community Ride Hub for funding or commissioning purposes, we would rather explain our plans for measurement directly than have you read invented numbers. Get in touch and we can talk through our approach, our governance, and our current stage of development.
