Newsletter: you can register a transport need with Community Ride Hub

This is not a booking

Community Ride Hub is preparing to operate. Registering a transport need does not arrange a journey, open membership, or guarantee that we will be able to help. It helps us understand demand and contact you when the next step is possible.

Hello from Community Ride Hub

We are writing with a simple update: if you, a family member, or someone you support has a transport need that community transport might help with, you can now register that need on our website.

Too many people struggle to get to appointments, day centres, shops, or simply to see other people — not because they do not want to travel, but because the options available do not work for them. Community Ride Hub exists to change that for our members and for people referred by partner organisations, once we are properly set up to operate.

Why we are asking now

Before we launch, we need an honest picture of local need — not guesses. Every registration helps us plan vehicles, drivers, operating area and funding conversations responsibly. Anonymous totals (never your name or contact details) may also help when we talk to funders and commissioners.

  • It is free and does not commit you to anything
  • You can register for yourself, for someone you support, or for a group
  • We will only use your details as set out in our privacy notice
  • You can ask us to delete your entry at any time

What happens after you register

Your submission goes onto our register of transport need so the Community Ride Hub team can review it. When membership applications open, we can get in touch using the contact details you give us. Until then, please treat this as interest and planning — not a place in a queue for a specific journey.

Referring professionals should use our referral page rather than the public interest form, once that secure route is live. For now, see the referral page for the current position.

Register a transport need

It takes a few minutes. Tell us as much or as little as you like — a name and a way to contact you is enough to start.
